Clarke Aquatics will be making the herbicide application on Echo Lake Monday, June 4th . They will post a couple signs at the launch and beach to let people know the lake was treated. There will be a 5 day irrigation restriction following the application so if anyone uses a pump to draw water from the lake for watering, they will want to avoid using the system until Saturday.
It is safe to use the lake for all other activities including swimming, boating, fishing, fish consumption, etc. immediately following our application.
Also, a big thank you to Jim Lang for picking up parts and rebuilding one of the compressors!
In addition, we replaced one of the aerators that had gone bad.
