No open burning of yard waste, leaves, and brush until the stay at home order is lifted.

The Lake Zurich Rural Fire Protection District Board approved a resolution Monday night banning open burning and controlled burns in the Lake Zurich Rural Fire Protection District response area during the stay at home order issued by the Governor. This ban includes your area in Echo Lake and I wanted to reach out to you and let you know. There are other Fire Districts in the County that have taken similar actions as well. This ban does not prohibit fire pits used for recreational fires but it does prohibit open burning of yard waste, leaves, and brush until the stay at home order is lifted. Please help us spread the word with your Association.
